This design creates a bio-swale with native plantings to protect a spring
fed tributary to French Creek used for watering a dairy herd. The
bio-swale occurs downslope from grazing pastures and cultivated fields,
and aims to increase nutrient uptake, decrease sedimentation, and ultimately improve riparian habitat and water quality in the watershed.
